Celebrating a birthday at the Roscheider Hof will be an unforgettable experience for both your child and their playmates. Depending on the season, child's age and number of children we will gladly arrange an individual programme for you.
Big birthday party
The birthday party consists of four parts:
- Guided tour for children,
- Museum games: with younger children for example the goblin from the Sensemichel house likes to hide things in the museum that don't belong there; older children may like to pit their wits against each other in a museum rally.
- Food and drink in the Sensemichel house, if the weather is good and warm then outside on the terrace in front of the house.
- Museum project: in this case there is plenty of scope for different activities, like making bread on a stick, historical children's games, paperchases, building hobby horses, making scented sachets, feltwork, weaving, clay brick making, reciting fairy tales, painting houses etc.
Usually starts at 2:30 p.m. - ends around 6 p.m. Maximum number of participants: 10 children.
Please call us if you're interested so that we can arrange the details in advance.
(Contribution towards expenses 80 Euros plus admission charges and cost of any materials; food and drink are supplied by you).
Granny Kättchen and Struppi
can of course be booked for a children's birthday party as well as the others from the children's programmes at the open air museum. Details can be found under Guided tours/Projects. Length and cost depend on the programme. Afterwards it is possible to celebrate the party with refreshments brought from home that can be eaten in or outside the Sensemichel house. Alternatively, birthday celebrations can continue in the museum restaurant if you reserve ahead of time.
